The show about nothing actually featured a series of surprisingly intricate plot lines, which tended to get intertwined between characters. In terms of quality, I was surprised to see Season 8 rank so high (especially after the departure of co-creator Larry David). Season 4 is tops in my book. But I agree with the wisdom of the crowd in that the first two or three seasons are not worth re-watching when binging on this classic series. And the data confirms that the show quit just at the right time (though its finale is unfortunately one of the worst of any modern TV show). The show's brilliance is also taken down a notch by the lack of diversity and subtle racism (i.e. notice how some cultures are stereotypically portrayed in the show).
