The Sopranos

A wonderful series spoiled by an incomplete ending. I stayed away from the series for years because I was put off to a show that was basically the premise of Analyze This with De Niro! But if you can look past that lame plot device, the series is second only to The Godfather in its portrayal of organized crime... waste management.
