Star Trek: The Next Generation

I never thought that a remake could be better than the original, but TNG proved a lot less campy and more thrilling than the first series with Captain Kirk. But the data from imdb users shows that the show got better, not worse, over time, indicating that the cast needed time to gel before producing some of the series' best moments. That multi-part episode with the Borg is legendary. I never screamed harder at a 'To Be Continued' screen in my life, a somewhat irrelevant fact now that TV shows are streamed rather than aired (with a May to September cliffhanger).
