Somewhat preachy, the West Wing was nevertheless an enjoyable political drama of the highest quality. It's amazing that all of the snappy dialogue in some of the early seasons was written by one man: a coked-up Aaron Sorkin. But our Season-Quality Correlation seems to indicate that series quality took a nosedive right about when Sorkin entered rehab.
