This series overstayed its welcome, by several seasons (our Season-Quality Correlation score is among the worst we have seen). How many times can the new season's villain be the worst threat ever? Nevertheless, in the beginning, TWD was a very edgy and suspenseful series that never shied away from killing off main characters. Stopping at season 6 would be wise (or right when Negan shows up).
